Anyway, I don't know if he's mentioned me but my name is Sandy and I'm from a version of your world where things are... whoo, a bit different. But the main thing I guess I'm putting out is that your mom was... kind of like an aunt to me. So this is a little like... I dunno, sort of like getting in touch with distant relatives or something? Something like that.
I'm heading to Olympia but travel's not really a problem if you wanted to... maybe have coffee or something. That could be nice. I feel like the odd man out around here, but I think it's important to remember things. People. Together, when you can.

Polly always had a shine for kids, though. So she looked out for me special, I think.

It sounds like her, though I confess I cannot imagine my mother leaving the island of Themyscira. Do you know how that came to pass?
I do. Though it's a pretty big mess. It had to do with one of your sisters and an incident that involved a number of different universes all similar but different. Some of the worlds combined by the end and one of the results is that your mother fought in World War II with my team.
( her smile reads a little sad at that. it is difficult for her not to be. when push came to shove, her mother had heard of the world warring and chosen to remain in seclusion. it is hard to hear of a version of her that had left when the mother Diana remembers remained, even as the daughter she loved pushed on to complete their duty on her lonesome. )
It is strange to imagine, though I am proud to hear it. I have seen your world at war. It is an awful strife, and I know my mother would have been a boon to your team.

She definitely was. Kept the boys in line. She and Black Canary. And she got the Wildcat to stop being such a tomcat.
We were lucky to have her.

Anyway, the Diana I know is also something of a coworker. We've done Thanksgiving before, anyway. So I guess I was wondering what you were doing for the holidays. If you'd mind me dropping off a gift or anything.
Thanksgiving is a holiday. A lot like Christmas, yeah. There's a whole big meal, usually, shared with friends and family. We hosted at the brownstone most years, the Justice Society and the Justice League.

Sure. And we'll have to meet up to exchange them sometime.
