So, uh... I've kind of been holding off on saying hello since we've all kind of been doing our own thing, I think. I've talked to 'Alan' [ That will never stop being weird, never ] but that's business.

Anyway, I don't know if he's mentioned me but my name is Sandy and I'm from a version of your world where things are... whoo, a bit different. But the main thing I guess I'm putting out is that your mom was... kind of like an aunt to me. So this is a little like... I dunno, sort of like getting in touch with distant relatives or something? Something like that.
