Diana, I've settled in Wyver and I was thinking of hosting dinner for you and Bruce for a bit of a house warming. Would you be interested in coming?

( more texting... diana hates to text but she makes exceptions for a rare few. Clark is one of them, even though he doesn't know it yet. )

I am delighted to hear you have settled, Clark. What are your thoughts on the city?

I would be overjoyed to attend. Would you permit me to bring my friend? Steve woke not long after you did, I knew him before the storm hit.

It reminds me of some time I spent in South America in a good way. But I can't say more just yet, I think.

Of course Steve would be welcome. The more the merrier. I also have a roommate who may be joining us, but she also might be out so no guarantees.

You are the host. Any time that suits you will suit us.

How about a Tuesday? No one ever has anything to do on Tuesdays, so I've seen.

And yes, my roommate. Her name is Jessica. I met her on the station.

I have never thought about it that way, but you are right. I cannot think of anything I'm meant to do on Tuesday.

I am not sure I have met her. I'd like to, if she's present when we are there. It is good you have found someone, I had a roommate for a time and I much prefer it to being alone.

If she feels like coming out, I'll definitely do introductions. She's a little like a cat sometimes. Very particular.

I think all of us are particular in our own ways, don't you?

I hope to meet her. If not now, in the future.

I couldn't agree more. On both counts.

Was there anything you particularly like? For dinner, I mean.

I think I'm doing fish but I'm happy to take requests on side dishes.

I think most dishes I could name are a bit out of time for you.

I will enjoy anything you intend to make. I don't care to drink, but I don't mind if the rest of you do.

I'll have something out but alcohol doesn't really effect me either.

And I'm willing to try my hand at anything you like. But either way, are there any dietary concerns you'd like me to take into account? Vegetarian, kosher, halal, anything like that?

[ It'll be a bit more of a difficulty but not impossible. ]

I don't mind eating meat. I confess I'm not sure what makes a dish kosher or halal. I expect I do not need any preferential treatment.

I haven't had lamb since I left Themyscira. Perhaps that?
