From what I have seen, men tend to find a reason to fight, even if they have to create it from thin air.
(
ultimately, Diana still believes that Ares' iron grip on their hearts causes it, yet... it's hard to miss their tendency toward war.
)
If we can ease hearts by erasing fear, then perhaps that is what we ought do.
